Following Lomasha's advice, Yudhishthira and his companions wash their limbs at Nanda, then journey to the sacred river Koushiki — the place where Vishvamitra once performed his terrible austerities.

Vaishampayana said: The king and his companions washed their limbs there at Nanda, as Lomasha had advised. Then they set out and went to the sacred and beautiful Koushiki, the river whose waters are auspicious — the same river where Vishvamitra had once performed his terrible and supreme austerities.
